Up for my usual workout routine then back to the condo for breakfast.  Looks beautiful out there today but the forecast is for rain.  We decide to head north to check out a couple of beaches recommended for snorkelling.  Not a good plan.  The further north we headed the blacker the sky became.  Finally it started to rain.  Stopped at a coffee farm for free sampling but decided to pass on the tour.  $15 a person to walk through the rain was not what we wanted to do.  Finally decided we were wasting our time heading to the beaches we were planning to go to and turned back towards Kona.  The weather was better there, although not a bright, sunny day.  We did find a beach and hung out there for awhile then headed into Kona and had lunch at Bubba Gumps.  Wandered a little and then headed to Costco to pick up a boogie board and some shorts for Bill.  The further south we moved, we found better weather, although not exactly a hot day.  Finally ended up on Hapuna Beach to watch the sunset. From there we headed to the shopping center to pick up some ingredients for supper and were treated to some pretty good Hawaiian entertainment at the mall.  Boy can those girls move their hips!  I don't think I am genetically endowed to do that even if I worked at it! Thinking we might head up to Volcano National Park tomorrow but will definitely check on the weather forecast before going.  Not keen to drive mindlessly tomorrow.
